EagleHD Bariatric Electric Wheelchair
The Eagle lightweight bariatric electric wheelchair or folding electric wheelchair can be easily put into the boot of a car and is the wider version of the highly successful EagleHD.
The armrest width is 595mm offering the user more comfort while seated for 130kg+ users.
The EagleHD bariatric is durable and extremely reliable and is based on the phenomenally successful Eagle HD folding electric wheel chair.
The EagleHD foldable bariatric electric wheelchair has a flip up footrest that folds neatly flush to the seat cushion allowing easy standing right up to the chair to sit.
Unlike many bariatric electric wheelchairs in Australia, this model features a unique foldable joystick mechanism that neatly tucks away when placing the chair into a car boot. This design helps prevent accidental damage during transport and makes handling more convenient. It’s a practical solution that adds to the durability and usability of the wheelchair.
Motors & Batteries
2 quick release slick batteries that are skillfully placed into the side subframe on either side of the foldable power chair, and are removed from the front either side of the seat.
Which means, you don’t have to get on your knees crouching underneath the seat to remove the batteries.
The batteries power the 2x 250W super quiet brushless motors which makes the Eagle a rear-wheel-drive folding wheelchair. .
Tyres and Folding Ability
The Eagle power lightweight wheelchair has a 12″ rear and 8” front PU solid tyre that is made from pneumatic micro-cellular polyurethane.
The front tyre is perforated to absorb the front end shocks and aids in reducing lower back pains when driving for long periods.
PU Polyurethane is resilient, abrasion resistant and resistant against to most chemicals so you are safe if you ever are in a situation in terms of chemical spillage.
They are hard wearing for long life and exceptionally low maintenance. It is puncture proof also so no maintenance required and replacing tyres for many years.
The Eagle bariatric electric wheelchair easily folds in about two seconds and can be placed into the boot.
